Fortuny was founded in the city of Guatemala, on November 5 of 2001 by the Public Accounting and Auditor, Juan Luis Fortuny; he is an expert in accounting matters, a consultant in tax consulting and defense of taxpayers, and performing audits of financial statements, among other areas of professional practice.
In 2009 Leslye Marel Solórzano Ramírez, an Attorney at Law and Notary, graduate in Legal Sciences, Lawyer, and Notary Public joined Fortuny with a degree in Legal and Social Sciences; she was incorporated into the firm with the specialization in tax litigation in defense of taxpayers and corporate legal services.
Over the past 20 years, we have established ourselves as a boutique firm of accountants, tax consultants, tax litigation attorneys, and independent external auditors. We have served an extensive and select portfolio of clients in the industrial sectors, agribusiness, construction, trade in goods and services, as well as non-profit entities and international cooperation projects.

It begins to carry out external audit assignments of financial statements.
The Attorney at Law and Notary, Leslye Marel Solórzano Ramírez, joins the firm, providing legal assistance in tax litigation and corporate legal services.
Agreements are reached with firms in Mexico to provide services of Transfer Pricing Studies to related parties.
Fortuny is admitted to BKR International, a global association of Firms, with more than 160 members in 80 countries around the world. In 2020 Fortuny decides not to continue associated with BKR International.
Fortuny moves to its own offices in Edificio Pialé, located in the most exclusive cluster.
